"Quick Find" function to speed up searching for known items
We need a "Quick Find" box where we type in the Patron ID in the Patron module, or the KLAS ID in the Catalog module, to go straight to that record. You can jump immediately to the patron you need in Front Desk by entering the Patron ID and we would like it in other modules. The current Find tool wastes time loading the first 50 records in the Catalog module or the Patron module every time you open it. Either stop ...more »

Either stop the find tool from searching for [blank] when it is first opened, or give us a separate search box that skips that step. We often know the exact KLAS ID or Patron ID and could type it in. We certainly don't need to see the first 50 books or patrons everytime we start a search.
